Before setup, download the Tofect FLY app to your phone.
Charge the Flight Batteries
Fully charge all flight batteries before use.
Insert a Memory Card
Before use, insert a compatible memory card into the drone.
Install the Controller Joysticks
Screw both joysticks securely into the controller before operation.
Unfold the Drone Arms
Fully unfold all four drone arms before installing the battery.
Install the Flight Battery
Slide the flight battery into the drone until it is securely seated.
Remove the Gimbal Protector
Follow the sticker instructions to remove the gimbal protector before powering on.
Power On the Controller
Press the power button once. When the screen lights up, press and hold it again.
Power On the Drone
Place the drone on a level surface, then press and hold its power button.
Wait for Automatic Pairing
After a few seconds, the drone will pair with the controller automatically.
Connect the Phone
Place your phone in the holder and connect it with the appropriate cable.
Open the Control Screen
Open Tofect FLY, then enter the aircraft control screen.
Check Beginner Mode
Open Parameter settings and confirm Beginner Mode, which is enabled by default.
Enter Compass Calibration
Push both joysticks diagonally inward and upward at the same time to begin calibration.
Calibrate Horizontally
Keep the drone level and rotate it horizontally until the transmitter beeps.
Calibrate Vertically
Hold the drone with its camera pointing upward and rotate it as directed in the app.
Wait for GPS Satellites
Wait until enough satellites are connected and the app indicates that the drone is ready.
Confirm the Ready Light
Wait for the blue indicator to change from slow flashing to solid blue.
Unlock the Motors
Move both joysticks down and inward at the same time to unlock the motors.
Use One-Key Takeoff
Short-press the one-key takeoff button to lift off.
Switch Flight Speed
Short-press the speed button to cycle through the three speed levels.
Start Video Recording
Long-press the video button to start recording, then long-press it again to stop.
Use the Zoom Control
Turn the zoom control wheel to adjust the framing.
Adjust the Camera Angle
Turn the camera-angle adjustment wheel to tilt the camera.
